Business Intelligence Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze stakeholder requirements and support ad hoc reporting and data queries.
• Develop and deploy high-quality BI solutions, primarily with Power BI.
• Conduct functional testing, data validation, and user acceptance testing.
• Manage project delivery from engagement to post-implementation support.
• Identify data sources and mapping for BI solutions.
• Advise on visualization and analysis options; present solutions to stakeholders.
• Build relationships and liaise with IT service providers.
• Stay updated on BI industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Relevant 3-year tertiary or NQF-aligned qualification.
• Minimum 3 years in a Data Management/BI Analyst/Developer role.
• Proficient in SQL and Power BI; experience in Retail Financial Services is a plus.

Key Skills:

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of BI best practices and Data Warehouse environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Google Cloud Platform and Qlik experience advantageous.
