Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) – Enterprise Infrastructure (previously called Routing & Switching)
• May also have CCNP, CCNA, or specialist Cisco certs

Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years in networking and infrastructure roles
• Deep hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
• Advanced routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, etc.)
• Strong understanding of WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, QoS, VPNs
• Network design and architecture for large, complex environments
• Troubleshooting and performance optimization at L2/L3
• Familiar with automation (Python, Ansible) and network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Cisco Prime)
• May have exposure to network security, NAC, ISE, or firewalls (Cisco ASA, Firepower)
• Strong documentation and communication skills; often works cross-functionally
• Able to lead technical teams or projects
