Overall Job Purpose:

Our client, a leading organization in the consumer-focussed Agri-Business is undergoing a strategic business and IT transformation and seeks a dedicated Cloud and Tech Services Lead. The role involves overseeing the implementation of SD-WAN capabilities, Cloud setup and migration, and an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition.

Key Accountabilities:

• Applies architectural guidelines and principles to technical solutions.
• Develops Cloud adoption principles, including Security and POPIA compliance.
• Ensures connectivity across SAP S/4 HANA and related systems.
• Participates in QA and Design Authority activities.
• Acts as a liaison between internal teams and Solution Implementation (SI) project teams.
• Ensures quality design, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Identifies and escalates issues and risks.
• Validates and obtains buy-in for business processes.
• Manages technical impacts and dependencies.
• Facilitates Knowledge Transfer to AMS partners.
• Interprets the SAP RISE agreement and defines support roles.
• Manages SI partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Demonstrates effective communication and leadership.

Change Management:

• Supports Change Management activities.
• Provides input to impact assessments.
• Coaches and trains Solution Architects.
• Applies Enterprise Architecture design principles.

Quality Management:

• Establishes project governance structures.
• Ensures alignment with PMO project delivery requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• IT Diploma or degree.
• Minimum 10 years of Cloud migration & management, Networks, Infrastructure, or related experience.
• Minimum SAP deployment experience.
• Minimum 10 years of project/programme management experience.
• Knowledge and experience of SD-WAN and Cloud solutions.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Strong project planning, estimation, design, and implementation skills.
• Resource allocation and project control.
• Experience with project management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

• Travel Requirements: Hybrid
• Hours of Work: 8:00 – 16:30
