Fraud Prevention Analyst

As a Fraud Prevention Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding customers and business from fraudulent activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring real-time transactions to identify and prevent high-risk activities.
• Investigating suspicious transactions, account takeovers, and other fraudulent behaviour.
• Resolving queued transactions efficiently to minimise potential revenue losses.
• Collaborating with banks and customers to validate information and authorisations.
• Maintaining and improving fraud analysis models to enhance system effectiveness.
• Ensuring confidentiality of investigation information.
• Identifying fraud trends and suggesting system improvements.
• Recommending anti-fraud processes and tools.
• Generating reports for risk management.
• Reviewing KYC for high-risk accounts.
• Handling customer issues and withdrawals.
• Logging necessary suspicious activity reports when required.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with fraud prevention and monitoring systems.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of risk management and fraud prevention.
• Interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to confidentiality.
• Experience in KYC documentation review and fraud detection.
• Problem-solving skills and investigative experience.
• A strong work ethic and excellent time management.

Other Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in financial services data analysis or risk management.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility for overtime when required.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.
