Head of Technology – Cape Town (Hybrid)

I’m partnering with an innovative client who is looking for a Head of Technology to lead their engineering and technical strategy. This is a key leadership role responsible for defining the company’s technology vision, driving delivery excellence, and building a culture of innovation and collaboration.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and execute the overall technology strategy and roadmap.
• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable systems.
• Partner with executive leadership to align technology with business goals.
• Drive adoption of modern architecture, DevOps, and agile practices.
• Champion innovation and emerging technologies to improve performance.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in a senior tech leadership role (Head of Tech / CTO / VP Engineering).
• Strong background in software architecture, cloud computing, and system design.
• Experience with agile environments and leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
