A leading technology-driven organisation in the Western Cape is seeking a strategic and visionary Head of Software Development to lead multiple Agile teams in delivering secure, scalable, and innovative enterprise solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing development teams.
- Drive Agile delivery, CI/CD, and built-in quality practices.
- Align software delivery with business strategy and customer needs.
- Oversee vendors, budgets, and ROI on technology investments.
- Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
What You’ll Bring:
- IT degree or equivalent qualification.
- Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master).
- 12+ years in IT, 6+ years in software development leadership.
- Proven enterprise software delivery experience.
- Strong technical leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
