IT Infrastructure Project Manager

About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on, results-driven IT Project Manager with deep expertise in IT infrastructure deployments to lead and coordinate complex infrastructure rollouts within a retail environment. If you have a proven background in managing the delivery of robust IT infrastructure-spanning network cabling, server equipment, and power systems-this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects across multiple retail sites.
• Oversee the deployment of network cabling, server hardware, switches, routers, and emergency power systems (e.g., UPS, generators).
• Ensure adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets while managing risk and change effectively.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors, contractors, and store operations to ensure seamless infrastructure integration.
• Track project milestones, maintain project documentation, and provide regular progress updates to senior stakeholders.
• Manage site readiness, deployment schedules, and quality assurance across all technical workstreams.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven project management experience in the IT Infrastructure domain, ideally within retail or multi-site environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in overseeing the physical deployment of IT infrastructure, including structured cabling, server rooms, hardware installations, and power continuity solutions.
• Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure components: LAN/WAN, switches, routers, server racks, and power backup systems.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Solid organizational and communication abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
• PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certification is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
