Role: Cybersecurity Analyst / Security Operations Engineer

Location: Durban, KZN

A global business services provider specialises in sustainability solutions, ESG advisory, and technology-driven process support. With a presence in over 20 countries, including a growing team in South Africa.

Play a key role in detecting threats, managing security tools, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and standards. The role also includes supporting system and application security testing.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to security incidents and system vulnerabilities.
• Run regular security assessments and technical audits.
• Manage access controls and tools like SIEM, EDR, and antivirus.
• Support secure development practices and review changes for risk.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and maintain compliance.

Requirements:

• Degree in IT or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations.
• Knowledge of ISO standards or similar frameworks preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
