About the role:

Our client Sedna are looking for a Solution Consultant to be one of their founding team members in South Africa, you’ll take charge of crafting and fine-tuning Sedna solutions for both new and existing clients. Your main tasks include gathering requirements, configuring solutions, guiding testing, overseeing rollout, and providing expert advice on best practices. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Solution Architects to grasp system architecture intricacies and with Implementation Managers to ensure seamless project execution. Your responsibilities:

Here’s a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day:

Providing solution consulting – lead the end-to-end solution delivery, ensuring efficient implementation and improvement of Sedna solutions. You are responsible for design, configuration, testing, training, and other type of consulting engagement aiming at improving processes and adoption.

Expanding your product knowledge – expanding your knowledge of Sedna’s product capabilities and features and so that you can understand how they relate to the specific needs and challenges of our customer profiles.

Building your Industry knowledge – building a deep understanding of our targeted client profiles, including their operational processes, challenges, and constraints, while tailoring communication and solution design to resonate with the client’s vernacular and specific industry requirements.

Driving Change management – identifying impacts of changes and developing comprehensive change management plans, while effectively communicating changes to stakeholders and providing ongoing support and training to facilitate smooth transitions.

Continuous improving our ways of working: participating in initiatives to enhance our ways of working by improving our internal methodologies and tolling with an aim of improving our cost-to-value ratio.

Defining best practices – creating and updating predefined templated solutions and best practices for our client to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment with industry standards.

About you:

We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in this role:

• 5+years of experience in a client-facing solution implementation role managing multiple ongoing projects
• Experience in implementing SAAS solution
• Functional knowledge of API, mail infrastructure, authentication, and data migration
