DUTIES / KNOWLEDGE
Role:
o System infrastructure support
o SQL database support
o Reporting to customers and staff on issues and resolutions
o System support
o Assist Sales staff with technical support in meetings and solutions
Responsibilities:
o Look after company system infrastructure, servers, connectivity, integration support, etc.
o Help with trouble shooting database issues
o Help with trouble shooting systems and providing feedback to development team
o Help with testing of all systems and providing test results to developers
o Ensure the company has proper redundancy for supporting of vps solutions o Ensure the company follows all ISO policies and procedures
o Create all polices and procedures for the company’s ISO when needed o Document all testing results in a manner that is agreed on by al parties
Knowledge:
o Pastel Evolution
o Windows 2008, 2012 and 2016+ server
o SQL 2008,2012 and 2016+ Server
o Active Directory Experience
o Virtual Server Experience
o Knowledge on all forms of internet connectivity
o Basic Firewall Knowledge
o Android, Apple, Blackberry and windows mobile knowledge
o In house system support knowledge
o Designing of systems and maintaining them from an IT support side.
o Knowledge of IT best practices for change control, implementations etc
