Design Director

My client is a fast-growing Media Business and Publisher creating the most beautiful content for their digital and print assets. With over 4 million followers across their socials and a growing Print portfolio, we are currently seeking a Design Director to join their team in Sydney.

Through their print magazine, website, and social media presence, they put on display the latest trends in local design, delve into ongoing trends, ideas, and discussions, and establish a platform to advocate for the continuous importance of authentic design.

Print and Digital all have their own unique storytelling potential, and the team are inspired by the power of these different mediums to communicate the biggest ideas, the finest details and everything in between.

The role will see you lead and support a team of 5 Graphic Designers in their Sydney studio. You will sit as part of the Executive Leadership team and support the Managing Director on strategic projects and ensuring the business achieves its growth ambitions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in leading Design Teams and a passion for creating and curating beautiful content. Your experience would sit across both digital and print magazine/ publications supporting strong growth in this area.

This role is based in Sydney and due to the amazing and collaborative culture, the team are based on-site 4 days per week and work remotely for the other day.
