Senior Visual Designer

A Day in the Life:

• Co-own and execute social digital advertising design layouts, working to push the brand forward with bold ideas and experimentation
• Conceptualise a broad spectrum of ideas with speed and quality. Storyboarding, briefing and presenting for both internal Marketing partners and external agencies on motion/animation campaign assets
• Collaboratively partner with content designers to design marketing campaigns and elements that drive awareness and engagement, and generate qualified leads that help move the business forward
• Develop close relationships with cross-functional marketing partners
• Work on multiple project workstreams with complex timelines at one time, using strong communication skills to manage expectations appropriately
• Provide guidance on visual design to cross-functional marketing partners, with design rationale and customer-backed insight for effective sell-through to senior leadership
• Be a catalyst for change. They are on a transformative journey with the design system and they love designers who can champion change!
• Contribute to the product’s creative strategy by learning from the customers and applying UX principles to innovate towards a solution

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience in visual design
• A passion for all things digital with a proven track record in designing for campaigns, working alongside marketing partners and working with (or creating) design systems
• Demonstrated success in designing for Video, Social, Display, and Web
• Deep knowledge of visual design principles and methods, and knowing how those apply across integrated marketing communications
• A curiosity for new ideas, and a commitment to gaining customer feedback to inform on rapid iteration and innovation to drive business results.
• Experience articulating ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping
• A dazzling online portfolio demonstrating your strong craft and collaborative process
• A Figma fanatic – they are fully invested in the ecosystem
• An understanding of Financial software products would be advantageous but not required
