About the Company

Our client, a US based blockchain visionary have designed and built a digital currency wallet which is fast becoming the number 1 platform for all your crypto investments.

They’re a UX-driven company. Reporting into a Creative Director in the UK, they are looking for talented UX Designers based in Australia, to form a global design team to work on further iterations of their Mobile and Desktop products.

This is a fully remote position with travel opportunities and the chance to work for an innovative project in the blockchain space.

Every employee gets paid in bitcoin at the first of each month. They provide a 3% buffer to cover market volatility. Your monthly salary is deposited into your chosen wallet, and you can choose to convert that into another currency straight away or leave some of it/all of it to see if it increases.

About the Role

You’ll collaborate with fellow creatives, marketers, and engineers to design an enhanced, thoughtful user experience across their app, website, and other digital design properties for customers.

You’ll tackle complex problems, collaborate on new ideas and concepts, and bring designs to life.

Role Responsibilities

• Create UX designs that meet project objectives through research and usability testing
• Represent the voice of the customer throughout the product design process, while ensuring consistency across products
• Understand and apply customer feedback & research to the design process
• Articulate complex concepts through personas, scenarios, storyboards, design sketching, wireframes, and rapid prototyping
• Create design documentation materials to support definition of specifications for the developers
• Develop low fidelity mock-ups to design and validate the solution
• Translate complex user workflows and business problems into simple and elegant design solutions
• Partner with multiple stakeholders, including product managers, marketers, engineers,
• organisational leaders, and other designers to understand project proposals
• Create and work on UX design goals, priorities, and deliverables that align with company milestones.

Your Experience

• Strong understanding of UX, interaction design & visual design
• User-centric mindset
• Knowledge of cognitive science and psychology
• Proficient knowledge of Sketch, Figma, or equivalent
• Strong creativity, empathy and problem-solving ability
• Systems-level design thinker with great design intuition
• Experienced in analytics, usability tests, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative feedback
• Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present a strongrationale for design decisions
• Able to receive feedback with open-mindedness
• Exceptional attention to detail
