About the Role

You’ll tackle complex customer problems and transform them into innovative, intuitive designs. You will be immersed in the product development lifecycle – from understanding the business case and customer problem, to driving the user experience strategy and co-designing with a cross-functional team to deliver customer focused experiences using agile delivery techniques.

This mid-weight role will suit someone innately curious, who is passionate about customer-centred design. You’ll fit in well in this low-ego team if you are open to criticism, to be able to improve your work and the overall customer experience.

You’ll excel at combining business objectives with user needs to create deliverables such as personas, user journeys, sitemaps, wireframes, designs and interactive prototypes.

Confident presenting your design rationale using insights to stakeholders and the design team, you’ll push boundaries and be able to influence, enlighten and persuade others to do the same.

If you do not have end-to-end experience, the company offer on the job training and upskilling. UI experience is highly desirable, or at least a willingness to learn.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Mid-weight experience in multi-channel and platform design, across mobile, tablet, desktop
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate well and accept constructive criticism
• Excellent facilitation and collaboration skills
• Collaborative, open-minded approach to working in teams
• Proactive and autonomous
• Problem solving mindset
• Able to work on multiple projects of all sizes and complexity across multiple platforms
• Always thinking about the customer
• Highly proficient in Sketch, Axure RP or UX Pin
• Strong understanding of interaction design
• Good technical knowledge and experience working closely with developers
