Project Manager – Ichris Implementation Specialist

Our client is going through major transformation in Australia and requiring a Project Manager (HRIS/HCM) or Payroll Implementation & Operational Specialist with Ichris & Kronos experience.

  • Initial 12-month fixed term contract with client or Daily Rate on offer
  • Based in Sydney (ideally but open to Melbourne, Brisbane) with flexible WFH (Not fully remote)
  • Payroll Ichris / HRIS implementation experience highly regarded

About the Role:

As the Project Manager – Ichris payroll implementation specialist, you will manage the implementation of an Ichris solution in a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the definition, documentation and successful completion of large scale projects in line with the program and project management methodologies.
  • Promote and ensure the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
  • Identify project risks and controls.
  • Negotiate and implement controls and treatments as necessary and ensure appropriate escalation process is actioned where risks are likely to impact on the project.
  • Oversee and manage the monitoring and reporting of project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.
  • Manage, support and influence a variety of complex stakeholders (both internal and external)
  • Manage project resources, expenses, and capital costs against the project forecasts.
  • Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
  • Prepare timely and accurate briefings, reports, submissions, presentations, and other documentation of a detailed and strategic nature related to project initiatives.
  • Provide advice and strategic input into the development of project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with departmental guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Manage capability and resource development by leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary project teams(s).
  • Facilitate change management activities to enable the successful implementation of reformed process.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Ichris payroll implementation & operations experience is required.
  • Experience with Payroll / HCM or HRIS implementations in large organisations.
