Risk and Fraud Program Manager

Program Manager: Risk & Policy (12-Month Contract)

Our client is a large global FINTECH with multiple offices across Australian and New Zealand.

The ideal candidate will be a self-start and has sound knowledge and experience dealing with policies and standard operating procedure. If you are from the banking or finance industry looking to get a foot in the door with a reputable company this one is for you!

This position is an essential part of the team covering maternity leave, ensuring smooth sailing through policies and procedures. A rare opportunity to get your foot in the door!

Responsibilities:

  • SoPs: Scope and publish comprehensive policies and Standard operating procedures
  • Monitor Operations Metrics and KPI’s, and work with the operations team on performance opportunities
  • Monitor and analyse emerging risk trends and provide recommendations for remediation
  • Engage with acquirers, issuers, and card networks to advance policy and operational goals
  • Support audits
  • Produce and refine training materials
  • Lead coordination with cross functional teams to facilitate the approval process of new workflows and prepare for product launch

Must have’s:

  • 4+ Years experience in risk and fraud detection or financial services
  • Ability to use data in alignment with strategic priorities to execute on project work
  • Strong project management skills to scope and execute key cross-functional initiatives with limited guidance
  • High level communication skills with oral, written and having the ability to deliver concise recommendations on a course of action
  • Logical thinker, can navigate through problems with limited information
  • Comfortable with Diverse risk management tools
  • Has a growth mindset, creative and eager to take action to find solutions in a role that is constantly shifting
  • Ability to work across different time zones
