Sales Account Executive (Cyber Security / AI)

An exciting role waits for an ‘individual contributor’ SaaS sales Account Executive to join a multi award winning industry leader in the Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence/ AI field who were most recently valued at $1.65B and currently have over 1,000 worldwide employees spread across over 40 countries.

Their pioneering technology and leadership in AI is dedicated to the cyber defence challenge, giving over 2500 organisations, across all industries, the ability to defend against global rising cyber threats to email, cloud, networks, internet of things and industrial systems.

They are now looking to expand their Sydney sales team with three ‘self-starter’ account executives and will provide you an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the ‘hot ticket’ cyber security industry. You do not need any previous expertise in the cyber security field, just a keen desire and eagerness for mid-market new business development and willingness to learn.

This position offers significant uncapped commission earning potential (c.$100K, 1st year) on top of base, fast-paced career development, and numerous opportunities for personal achievement.

What you’ll do/ what you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top university ideally in Math, Science or Engineering
  • Prospect accounts for new business.
  • Establish and work with partners in your territory.
  • Present and demonstrate cyber threat defence solutions to CISOs and information security experts.
  • Work closely with their Subject Matter Experts, Technical Account Managers and Cyber Threat Analysts who will support you throughout the sales process as you close deals.
  • Experience selling to mid-market organisations
  • Proven hunter background with a track record of success
  • Familiarity with enterprise networking technology is a plus
  • Strong C-level / board communications skills
  • Willingness to travel to accounts across the territory (post Covid)
  • Goal oriented and self-motivated with a focus on over-quota performance
  • With regards to experience, we are looking for 1 to 2 years of sales experience in tech sales/ SaaS sales (inside sales qualifies too) or perhaps you are an energetic and motivated recruiter looking to break into the industry.
