Cyber Awareness Specialist

**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Education and Influence Specialist to enhance cyber safety within our organization. This role focuses on providing comprehensive cyber security training and awareness to employees, contractors, and third parties with access to our data and systems, aiming to prevent cyber-attacks through continuous improvement and education.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Develop and maintain engaging cyber awareness content tailored to our training requirements.
• Utilize various channels to deliver content effectively, catering to stakeholder needs.
• Promote and support government-led cyber security awareness initiatives such as Cyber Security Awareness Month, Privacy Awareness Week, and Safer Internet Day.
• Present awareness content both in person and online to individuals, small teams, and large groups within the organization.
• Identify and address stakeholder training needs, considering roles, locations, topics of interest, and cyber security maturity.
• Conduct simulated email phishing campaigns and analyze the results.
• Generate reports, metrics, and presentations to highlight the current state and identify areas for improvement.

**Qualifications:**

• Proven experience in developing and delivering cyber security awareness programs aligned with the current threat landscape and organizational risk profile.
• Skilled in creating various types of cyber security awareness content, including newsletter articles, podcasts, and social media posts.
• Proficient in presenting training sessions to diverse groups within a large organization.
• Demonstrated experience in setting up, executing, and analyzing simulated phishing email campaigns.
• Expertise in developing and implementing cyber security eLearning modules.
• Experience in administering a cyber security awareness platform.
• Ability to review large datasets, capture metrics, and produce executive-level reports.
• Familiarity with security controls, frameworks, and standards (e.g., ISO27001, NIST CSF, and ASD Essential 8).
• Capability to train users on policy requirements.
• Knowledge of information protection frameworks, including classification schemas, data handling and labeling, and data loss prevention.
