Data Engineer

Our client, a global financial services group, is looking for a Data Engineer to join Data Platforms Team to help them build the best technology business in financial services.

As a GCP Data Engineer you will play a crucial role in building, implementing and enhancing enterprise scale data solutions. You will be working in a DevOps environment and will be responsible for end-to-end designing, developing, deploying and supporting of data assets, standards and frameworks.

What makes you a good fit:

• 4+years of data engineering experience in a mature cloud environment;
• Experience building and deploying data lakes and data warehouses on GCP using services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions and GCS;
• Experience developing code-based ETL/ELT data pipelines with performance optimised data modelling;
• Experience with event driven processing and big data processing – handling PII, data formatting & wrangling, data preparation,
