Our client is looking for a mid-level frontend web developer who is passionate about digital tech and looking to grow their career with a company that will foster ambition and aspirations.

Join the team as part of a versatile and engaging global Digital agency, who specialise in e-commerce platforms, digital advertising, and marketing! The frontend web developer will be responsible for the development of inspired and effective user experiences, working towards the translation of client needs into functional and appealing applications and features.

The focus of this role is to unite functional usability with attractive visual design to create the digital environment for the agency, ensuring outstanding user experiences for their clients. Bridging the gap between graphic design and technical implementation.

What will your day look like?

* Translating UI/UX design wireframes to actual code

* Developing new user facing features

* Writing reusable code and libraries

* Enhancing application for maximum speed and scalability

* Using markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages

* Maintaining and improving the website

* Designing mobile-based features

* Collaborating with web designers to improve usability

* Getting feedback from, and building solutions for, users and customers

* Writing functional requirement documents and guides

* Creating quality mock-ups and prototypes

* Helping with back-end development with coding and troubleshooting

* Ensuring high quality graphic standards and brand consistency

Qualifications and Experience

* Bachelors degree in computer science or relevant field

* Experience as a Front-end Developer

* Experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery

* Desirable: Background or exposure to e-commerce, marketing, or advertising industries.

Skills we’re looking for

* Hands on experience with markup languages

* Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design

* Familiarity with browser testing and debugging

* Understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)

* Knowledge of SEO principles

* Familiar with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and content management systems

* An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

* Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
