Head of Digital Wallets & Payments

You will lead a small team, leaving you with ample time to strategise an innovative and seamless roadmap, whilst utilising marketing and Data & Analytics teams to help you along the way.

• Develop and execute Digital Wallet strategy and shape key initiatives to support the Everyday Banking business.

• Drive Digital Wallet performance through uplifting the customer experience, driving engagement and Front of Wallet behaviour and managing key risks & regulatory requirements.

• Lead the Digital Wallet strategic partnerships, ensuring we work with the best partners to enable better customer outcomes.

• Scan and understand external market, customer trends and behaviour and develops innovative payment propositions to ensure the Everyday Banking offering is always one that customers love to engage with ad are front of mind.

Key accountabilities:

• Ownership of Digital Wallet offering, including the experience, with a clear plan for how this will deepen customer engagement and align to Personal Bank’s Simple and Digital strategy
• Identify opportunities in the wider payments market to bring new propositions to everyday banking customers
• Ownership of existing partnerships and ensures compliance with ongoing obligations contained in partner contracts
• Collaboration with Data & Analytics to understand and drive Digital Wallet performance and deliver personalised-experiences
• Run and maintain a Digital Wallet business that complies with all relevant regulations, and which drives positive NPS growth and minimises complaints.
• Work with delivery teams to shape initiatives and deliver on roadmap which is integrated with other key experiences across Personal Everyday banking offering and payments products.
• Work with the Personal Everyday Banking Senior Leaders to role model the new ways of working

Key skills:

• Australian and global knowledge in cards and payments innovation, particularly from banks and Fintechs
• Experience identifying, developing and supporting strategic innovation opportunities that support the business strategy and achieve intended outcomes measured through shareholder, customer and employee value.
• Demonstrated understating of Banking and internal operations of the bank
• Proven negotiation and relationship management skills at a senior level
