Lead Engineer – Melbourne

The Company

Salt is excited to have partnered with a leading Entertainment organisation based in Melbourne who is currently seeking a Lead Engineer to join one of their innovative Software Engineering teams on a permanent basis.

Please note, this is a hybrid role based in Melbourne and all applicants must have full working rights in Australia to apply for this position.

The Role

As a hands-on Lead Engineer, you will be joining a newly formed Engineering team, where you’ll be responsible for leading the development various cutting-edge internal tools and applications, as well as overseeing a small team of Engineers.

Key Skills and Competencies

The successful Lead Engineer should have the following skill set:

• Extensive experience working across various Programming Languages (Python, TypeScript and Golang)
• In depth experience with AWS and Automation
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge GitHub
• Passionate about AI
• Experience working in an Agile
• Full working rights in Australia
