This position presents the opportunity to work on a program that will have wide-reaching beneficial outcomes across NSW. The Senior BA will work cross-functionally with product teams to prepare and deliver the business functions and processes.
We’re looking for a Senior BA who has strong Business Case development exposure, in order to work towards reshaping and developing the Student Management System (SMS) Business Case for the program.
Key Responsibilities of the position:
- Development of business process maps, impact assessments, gathering business requirements, options assessments papers, reporting, as documentation required to support and delivery the SMS Program.
- Research and determine business requirements, identify effective and best business process working toward solutions, including proposals to ensure smooth delivery of project according to timelines and budgets.
- Advise and guide technical teams in understanding business processes and requirements to ensure seamless delivery.
- Support creation, review and endorsement of processes by business process owners.
- Develop communication packages to engage business stakeholders to push business decisions ensuring clear communication to the business and participation from key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the management of the Test, Change and Training teams as required.
- Analysing data from a variety of sources to ascertain suitability for the program outcomes
Skills and Experience
- 5 years + working as a business analyst on large-scale project delivery.
- Significant experience in the management of requirement and business outcomes in a large private or public sector organisation.
- Sound knowledge of the system development life cycle and the positioning of business analysis within it.
- Experience with CRM and ERP Finance systems (PeopleSoft).
- Experience with BPMN.
- Experience with Agile framework.
