Senior Business Analyst – Infrastructure Upgrade

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in a major infrastructure upgrade project at one of Melbourne’s leading energy regulators, located in the heart of the CBD.

With a commitment to innovation and excellence, we are embarking on a large-scale upgrade of our Microsoft Server fleet to enhance operational capabilities and support our mission-critical functions.

• $800 a day Inclusive of superannuation

THE ROLE:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our infrastructure upgrade project. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements related to the Microsoft Server fleet upgrade.
• Conducting thorough business process analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Developing detailed business and functional requirements documentation.
• Working closely with technical teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
• Providing expert advice and guidance on best practices in business analysis and project management.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably within the energy sector or a regulated environment.
• Strong expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting process analysis, and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on delivering results and driving continuous improvement.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA will be advantageous.
