The Company
Salt is excited to have partnered with a leading Healthcare provider based in Melbourne CBD, who is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their Cloud and Platforms team on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Please note, all applicants must have full working rights in Australia to apply for this position.
The Role
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be joining our Healthcare client’s Cloud and Platforms team, where you will responsible for their data network infrastructure and operations. Key responsibilities for this role include network infrastructure management, network planning and design, as well as network security and compliance.
Key Skills and Competencies
The successful Senior Network Engineer should have the following skill set:
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience in Enterprise Network Infrastructure
- In depth experience working with LAN and WAN technologies
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Systems and Administration
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills
- Ability to create documentation and processes
- Understanding of ITIL Processes
Desired Skills
- Experience with Extreme Networks
- Knowledge of NetScaler
- Proficient in NSX
