Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
The Company
Salt is exciting to have exclusively partnered with a fast-growing FinTech organisation based in Melbourne, who is currently seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join one of their Engineering team on a permanent basis.
The Role
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be joining our FinTech client’s IT Operations teams, where you’ll be working within an established AWS environment, and will be solely responsible for contributing to the improvement of the reliability & resilience of high impact & high volume business critical applications. You will also take ownership of their monitoring & alerting suite.
Key Skills and Competencies:
The successful Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) should have the following skill set:
- Extensive experience with AWS
- Hands on knowledge of IaC and Automation, using Terraform
- Commercial experience with Monitoring tools (CloudWatch)
- Knowledge of various Alerting tools (Splunk, DynaTrace, AppDynamics)
- Proficient in Docker (ECS) and AWS Fargate
- Understanding of various programming languages (PHP, Vue.js, Python, Go)
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
