Software Training Manager

About the Company:

Our client is a global software provider with a burgeoning portfolio of clients that span across the US, Europe and APAC regions whilst employing over 20,000 employees worldwide.

They are widely recognised as the industry leader in their field with 2 products popular in the healthcare space.

We are looking for an experienced Training Manager to lead a team of 6 product trainers who conduct training face to face with new customers as well as online.

The role:

Being a key member of the local leadership team, the Training Manager will be responsible for leading a team of local, interstate, and overseas product trainers as well as developing and maintaining training content, including the development of e-learning modules.

You will work closely with an implementation team and be supported by a Project Manager who will help coordinate training schedules for your team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead a team of 6 Trainers around the region
• Ensuring all customers have completed their onboarding and training schedules
• Ensure all customers are trained in product usage to a high standard via face-to-face training, virtual or the completion of e-learning modules
• Ensure all new feature and product releases are trained across all teams
• Coaching of training staff on required training techniques
• Conduct regular one on one staff appraisals
• Ownership of the customer eLearning platform and content

Your skills & experience:

• Software training experience
• 3 years+ experience of managing/leading a training team
• Must be highly collaborative and be able to forge strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, both with External customers and with internal teams,
• Proactive approach to work tasks
• Knowledge of the healthcare market would be a distinct advantage
