Technical Analyst

We’re looking for a Technical Analyst to join the team delivering technology-fuelled, human-centred solutions at a leading Australian business and household name brand.

The business is a ServiceNow elite partner delivering specialised integration technology that can connect all IT management systems – both cloud and on-premises, creating a single unified environment.

Please note all candidates must hold a minimum of a NV1 AGSVA security clearance to be considered.

This opportunity is based in Canberra, working 5-days/ week in office for security purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse business processes, identify potential inefficiencies, and propose strategic improvements to optimize operational effectiveness.
• Leverage your expertise in Windows, Linux, and SQL Server to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, establishing yourself as a go-to troubleshooting resource.
• Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive training materials, documentation, and user guides to foster knowledge sharing and user autonomy.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, confidently handling customer meetings, escalations, and emergency situations.
• Champion continuous improvement by applying process analysis methodologies to develop and enhance procedures that guarantee exceptional service delivery, adhering to Agile and ITIL principles.

Qualifications:

• Strong demonstrable ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues within Windows, Linux, and SQL Server environments.
• ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certification or a comprehensive understanding of ITIL principles and their practical application.
• Proficiency in Splunk Power User functionalities.
• Experience with Linux scripting and general knowledge.
• Familiarity with Alation, Erwin, PowerBI, SQL Server database administration, Prince2/Agile methodologies, ITOM/ITSM/ServiceNow.
