Investor Relations Manager

Our client, a leading global digital advertising technology company, is paving the way in machine learning and artificial intelligence (“AI”) powered marketing technologies. As a public company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, they are looking for an Investor Relations Manager to join their team and elevate their investor portfolio.

Position Overview:

The Investor Relations Manager will play a crucial role in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our current and potential investors. This individual will be responsible for communicating our company’s financial performance, growth strategies, and market positioning to the investment community. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial markets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex financial information.

Responsibilities:

Investor Communication:

* Develop and maintain effective communication strategies to engage with current and prospective investors.
* Regularly update investors on the company’s financial performance, strategic initiatives, and market developments.
* Respond promptly to investor inquiries and ensure accurate and transparent communication.

Financial Reporting:

* Collaborate with the finance team to prepare accurate and timely financial reports for investors.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
* Analyze financial statements and provide insights to investors on key financial metrics.

Relationship Management:

* Build and nurture relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
* Organize investor meetings, conferences, and presentations to showcase the company’s performance and growth prospects.
* Gather feedback from investors to address concerns and improve overall investor relations.

Market Intelligence:

* Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
* Provide regular updates to the executive team on relevant market dynamics that may impact the company’s valuation or investor sentiment.

Shareholder Engagement:

* Manage relationships with existing shareholders and work to enhance shareholder value.
* Develop and implement strategies to attract new investors and broaden the company’s shareholder base.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
* Proven experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or a related role.
* Strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, concise messages.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
