Group Compliance Officer

We have partnered with the most exciting FinTech in, who are looking for an experienced Group Compliance Officer to be based in their DIFC office.

Responsibilities:

Preparing and reviewing documentation on the organisation, responsibilities, and procedures of the group’s compliance function
Developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
Manage and oversee the KYC element of the Group’s Compliance and Operations team
Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
Keeping senior management up to date on changes in relevant regulations and their implications
Preparing the firm for DFSA and other regulatory body risk assessment visits
Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the Group as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
Identifying, managing, and reporting on key compliance risks using the prescribed risk-based approach.
Providing advice and guidance to the business on international transactions, to ensure operations within the sanction’s regime of the UN, OFAC, FATF and UAE rules and procedures
Monitoring effectiveness of the systems, policies and procedures designed to manage compliance risk and proactively assist and make recommendations for improvements to systems, policies, and procedure
Collaborate with Group Heads and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
Preparing annual reports which includes (but not limited to):
– Annual Compliance report [ACR] Dubai

– Compliance Monitoring Program [CMP]

– Annual AML Return report to the Board

– DFSA regulatory reports to include Compliance returns
