Role Responsibilities:
- Attend creative briefings and brainstorms and ask questions of the brief and strategy so you are able to develop copy for the target audience.
- Work with an Art Director to appropriate concepts for the client.
- Write and proofread copy in word document format.
- Create copy for a variety of target audiences and media, making sure it is relevant and on brand.
- Familarise yourself with the client brand and tone of voice documents and become a guardian of the brand within the agency.
- Submit well-structured drafts to senior copywriter and creative director within deadlines for review.
- Produce write-ups of creative concepts and campaigns for presentations to clients and internal agency teams.
- Coordinate with designers to complement text with images and charts, as needed.
- Ensure copy is accurate on the visuals and artwork.
- Attend and present copy/concepts to the internal agency during WIP meetings, and support in client presentations.
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of other agency teams and manage their involvement appropriately.

Skills and Experience required:
- Work experience as a Junior Copywriter, Content Writer or similar role
- An ability to describe product features in a creative and informative way
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Good knowledge of CRM, social and digital channels.
- Solid time-management skills
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Solid communication skills – written and verbal
- Ideal but not essential; BSc in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field
