An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join a dynamic eCommerce startup in the beauty industry located in Dubai. This pivotal role will be key to driving growth by identifying and securing new business prospects, establishing strategic supplier partnerships, and enhancing brand visibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Forge strategic partnerships with innovative suppliers to enhance the product portfolio.
  • Spearhead business development activities in both new and existing markets to uncover additional revenue avenues.
  • Create and execute an effective sales strategy to meet growth objectives and elevate brand presence.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product launches that align with market demands.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure beneficial contracts and terms.
  • Present performance reports and actionable insights to senior management.
  • Network at industry events and trade shows to develop relationships with potential partners and clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine brand messaging and positioning.
  • Manage budgets effectively for business development initiatives.
  • Mentor and lead the business development team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Track performance metrics to assess effectiveness and drive improvements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or cartegory management, preferably in the beauty or retail sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of the beauty and cosmetics industry and consumer behavior.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
