I am currently partnered with a global exhibitions company who is looking for a Sales Executive. In this role you will be driving revenue growth through business development and consultative sales techniques.
The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, take initiative in lead generation, and be confident in engaging with C-suite executives through a consultative sales approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute new business sales strategies to grow delegate revenue.
- Engage in high-value consultative conversations with clients, leveraging past event successes and industry insights.
- Collaborate with marketing to enhance lead generation efforts and integrate insights into sales strategies.
- Coach and mentor existing sales team members, introducing structured reporting, KPI tracking, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Drive proactive lead generation from event attendee databases and warm leads, beyond just inbound inquiries.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within the events, media, or exhibitions industries
- Proven track record of proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities (“hunter” mindset)
- Experience in high-volume, phone-based sales (80-100 calls per week) with a strong focus on pipeline conversion
- Solid understanding of sales pipeline development and CRM lead management
