Junior Account Manager / Business Development

Job Summary:

The Junior Account Manager / Business Development will support the company’s business
development efforts by building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new
opportunities, and assisting in the execution of sales strategies. This role requires a strong
communicator with a passion for customer service and a desire to grow within the company.

Job Purpose:

The Junior Account Manager / Business Development role is designed to support the growth
and management of client accounts by identifying new business opportunities, ensuring
successful project delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships. The Junior Account
Manager will assist in sales reporting, proposal creation, and contract renewals while acting
as a trusted advisor to clients, driving account profitability and satisfaction. This position
plays a vital role in achieving sales targets and enhancing the overall client experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Account Management: Assist in opening and managing new and existing accounts to
achieve sales targets.
● Reporting: Create and maintain basic sales performance reports for accounts and
products.
● Implementation Tracking: Provide regular updates on project implementation status to
ensure client satisfaction.
● Proposal Support: Help develop proposals and pitches, focusing on structure and
content.
● Project Delivery: Work with program managers to ensure successful project delivery for
clients.
● Business Development: Identify potential business opportunities within existing
accounts.
● Contract Renewal: Support the contract renewal process to ensure client satisfaction
and continuity.
● Sales Generation: Generate sales to meet individual targets and prepare client
presentations and reports.
● Client Interaction: Engage with clients to address their needs and provide solutions.
● Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate campaign performance to ensure it
meets client expectations.

Key Competencies/Skills:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related
field.
● 2-5 years of experience as Sales Representative, Account Executive, Business
Development Associate, preferably within Technology and Electronics, Leasing and
Rentals, Telecommunications, IT Services or Insurance.
● Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written abilities to effectively articulate value
propositions and engage with clients.
● Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain positive, trust-based
relationships with clients and internal teams.
● Sales Acumen: Understanding of sales processes and the capability to identify and
pursue new business opportunities.
● Analytical Skills: Proficiency in creating and analyzing commercial reports to track sales
performance and account growth.
● Team Collaboration: Willingness to work collaboratively with various teams to achieve
common goals.
● Project Management: Capability to manage project timelines and deliverables in
collaboration with program managers.
● Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client needs and develop effective solutions as a
trusted advisor.
● Attention to Detail: Careful oversight in proposal preparation and report structuring to
ensure accuracy and quality.
● Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office suite.
