My client is a cutting-edge technology company dedicated to providing exceptional solutions to their clients. They are currently seeking a skilled L2 Application Support Engineer with expertise in frontend technologies to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.
The ideal candidate will specialize in front-end technologies. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for resolving complex technical issues related to their front-end applications. You will collaborate closely with their development and QA teams to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and system reliability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide second-level support to troubleshoot and resolve front-end application issues reported by clients and internal teams.
- Analyse and diagnose technical problems, applying your expertise in frontend technologies such as ReactJS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Collaborate with the development team to investigate, replicate, and resolve issues, ensuring efficient communication between support and development teams.
- Document detailed issue reports and resolutions, contributing to our knowledge base and ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
- Assist in quality assurance efforts by performing user acceptance testing and ensuring that issues are resolved effectively.
- Proactively identify potential issues and areas for improvement in frontend applications, providing valuable feedback to the development team.
- Provide training and guidance to clients and internal teams to enhance their understanding of front-end technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an L2 Application Support Engineer with a focus on frontend technologies.
- Strong expertise in frontend development, including ReactJS, JavaScript, and popular frontend frameworks.
- Familiarity with ticketing Tools like ServiceNow, Jira ServiceDesk, Remedy, etc.
- Experience in ITIL Processes like Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, etc
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Experience with customer support or client-facing roles is a plus.
- Knowledge of backend technologies and databases is an advantage.
