Mobile Automation Engineer

They’re looking to hire a QA Automation Engineer, with a focus on their Mobile products, to join the team.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute automation tests for iOS and Android applications
• Using Appium & Java to implement acceptance tests
• Conduct reviews on automation script code quality
• Work closely with the development team to automate testing
• Work across the business with cross-functional teams to gather recruitments, design automation tests and implement scalable testing solutions
• Monitor test metrics and report to key business stakeholders regularly

Skills Requirements

• Good skills using Java to write automation test scripts
• Experience working with command line tools
• Experience using Java to build test automation frameworks from scratch
• Experience with maven and/or gradle
• Extensive experience automation testing iOS and Android
• Good knowledge of automation framework concepts and best practices
• Experience with Continuous Integration technologies such as Jenkins
• A background of working to TDD and BDD principles
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Experience working in a Continuous Testing environment that follows DevOps principles.
• High standards of coding best practices and experience conducting peer code reviews
