SAP FICA Consultant

I am looking for an experienced SAP FICA Consultant to join my client, a Big 4 Consultancy on an initial 6-month contract.

In this role, you will play a critical part in implementing and maintaining SAP FICA (Financial Contract Accounting) solutions, ensuring they meet my client’s needs and business objectives.

You will work closely with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial solutions and provide expert advice on best practices and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation and Support: Lead the implementation of SAP FICA solutions, including configuration, customization, and maintenance. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and performance.
• Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, conduct gap analysis, and design efficient and scalable solutions.
• System Integration: Integrate SAP FICA with other SAP modules (such as FI, CO, SD, MM) and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.
• Documentation and Training: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals. Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective system utilization.
• Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality, performance, and compliance with business requirements. Perform data migration and system upgrades as needed.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to maximize system efficiency and effectiveness.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulations and security standards, managing risk and implementing necessary controls.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. SAP certification is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP FICA, including implementation and support. Experience with other SAP modules is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SAP FICA configuration and customization, including integration with other SAP modules. Familiarity with ABAP and SAP workflows is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into efficient SAP solutions.
• Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Experience managing and delivering SAP projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
