Technical Support Engineer – Cisco IPSec

Our client delivers a cutting-edge LTE/5G wireless network solutions globally is seeking Technical Support Engineer (Mandarin Speaker) in Malaysia!

What’s on your plate?

Support for end customers, dealers and distributors. Provide troubleshooting and technical support via phone, and email. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related services: IPSEC / SSL/Open VPN Connections, configure vLANs, VRF’s, Access Lists, Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and Routing Policies as required.

If you have:

• have 4+ years of Networking experience in a NOC/ISP/MSP (worked in a large NOC, managed service provider)
• are CCNP Entreprise or Service Provider level certified (CISCO certification is a must)
• ·have experience working with Cisco Routers, Switches and Firewalls
• have strong technical and analytical skills.
• have experience with Monitoring Tools (PRTG) (reading the alarm/alert – understand where the problem is coming from)
• have a strong understanding of Ethernet, TCP/IP routing, Policy based routing, IPsec/SSL/Open VPN, VRFs (at least understand how it works)
• have a solid experience in problem analysis and resolution of problems.
• have the ability to handle clients professionally during all interfaces
• can excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills are required for success
• have well-developed written and verbal communication skills including English, other languages an advantage
• know routing protocols (BGP. OSPF)
• can do service provisioning / configuration of the devices
• have time management and leadership and problem-solving skills.
• are a task finisher sees tasks through to completion
• are detail-oriented and capable of delivering at high level of accuracy
• know how to prioritize and have the ability to work with stakeholders to agree on key priorities
• Have the ability to work across teams and departments to gain input and feedback
• have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• can speak and understand Mandarin
