Our client is New Zealand’s largest clinical trials unit based at Middlemore Hospital. They have world class facilities and perform clinical trials in partnership with all hospital departments focusing on the diseases and long-term health conditions that affect our diverse South Auckland community.

The role

This role will see you supporting a diverse portfolio of grant funded clinical research that often contributes to the good of the general public. It’s a varied and fluid role which depending on current demands can have your day changing very quickly. You will work very closely with investigators to develop their research ideas, secure funding, and determine feasibility of performing international trials and both investigator – initiated and collaborative-group national trials. You will play a key role in making the trial happen through effective project management liaising with stakeholders to see the research commences, is on budget and completed.

About you

Interested in fundraising for medical and science advancement

Can work independently or in a wide team

Attained a PhD

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

High energy and resilience

Sound project management skills and a problem solver
