Automation SDET – Python

About the Role:

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer/SDET with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation with Python and prior or current experience in embedded systems testing. This role involves validating IoT and intelligent lighting solutions for one of the world’s leading telecom companies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test cases to validate embedded device behaviours.
• Ensure consistency across multiple device editions (e.g., BG95, BG96, CAT M1).
• Collaborate with QA teams in the US and India to enhance and maintain automation frameworks.
• Use APIs to interact with devices and systems under test.
• (Preferred) Work with lab equipment, embedded hardware, and connectivity tools (e.g., SSH).

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years in Python test automation.
• Proven experience in embedded testing (mandatory).
• Local to San Jose, CA or willing to relocate within 1 month.
• Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week.

Nice to Have (or willingness to learn):

• Hands-on work with lab environments, hardware devices, and SSH.
• Familiarity with cellular modules (BG95, BG96, CAT M1).
