Assistant Financial Manager

We are looking to recruit a highly performing Assistant Financial Manager to support the Head of Finance in maintaining financial health, ensuring regulatory compliance and improving operational efficiency. This role is responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and effective cost management within a fast paced and evolving industry environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and assist with compiling annual financial statements.
• Support the Head of Finance with executive and board level reporting, translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Assist with external audits and ensure timely submission of supporting documentation.
• Manage tax compliance, filings, and adherence to regulatory obligations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.

Required experience

• Degree in Accounting or Finance. Completion of audit articles is highly advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial management or supervisory role, ideally within the telecommunications or technology sector.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and industry-specific regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
