Are you a detail-oriented and motivated accounting professional? We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join our client’s dynamic Finance team in Durbanville, with occasional travel to their DC in Epping.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily/Weekly:
- Lead and manage the Finance Administration team
- Ensure DEXT/APMax/XERO processing is up to date within SLA
- Review and release payments
- Conduct GRN Health Checks across SYSPRO and CIN7
- Oversee AP and AR reviews, directing the Finance Administration team
- Review Cashbook reconciliations
Monthly:
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and Wear & Tear register
- Prepare Monthly Management Journals (Provisions/Accruals/Interbranch allocations, etc.)
- Manage Intercompany loans and invoicing
- Prepare VAT submissions for review
- Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Prepare and review Management Accounts
- Oversee stock count process for the Manufacturing entity
- Review materials utilization and recovery in Ecommerce and Dispatch divisions
Top Requirements:
- BCom Degree in Accounting or Management Accounting
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing/leading a team
- 5-8 years relevant accounting experience
- Excellent Excel skills
- Manufacturing experience is advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Office, Syspro, Xero, and CIN7 is advantageous
- Good knowledge of IFRS for SMEs standards
