Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to grow your career? We’re on the hunt for a Financial Accountant with 0-2 years post-articles experience to join this team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of the finance function up to trial balance
- Prepare and submit SARS returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)
- Manage payroll and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Oversee stock management and ensure accurate reporting
- Financial reporting and assisting with month-end processes
- Management tax calculations and submissions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support audits and liaise with external auditors
- Develop and improve internal controls and processes
Experience & Requirements:
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- 0-2 years post-article experience
- A solid academic record
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software
- Strong understanding of SARS regulations, payroll, and management tax
