Fund Accountant

Our client is seeking a skilled Fund Accountant to manage asset administration for local and offshore portfolios. This role involves daily oversight of pricing, trading, and settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance within established frameworks.

Duties:

• Portfolio Pricing Oversight: Manage the pricing process, review inputs and outputs, resolve exceptions, and conduct ad-hoc analyses as required.
• Trading and Settlement: Handle trading and settlement for local and offshore Fund of Funds, Equities, Fixed Interest, and Derivative instruments.
• Independent Review: Perform independent reviews of the pricing process, ensuring anomalies are identified and resolved.
• Team Collaboration: Support the team by sharing knowledge, assisting in problem-solving, and contributing to team decisions.
• Communication and Reporting: Provide clear and timely feedback, represent information accurately, and maintain open communication with team members and stakeholders.

Qualification and Experience:

• Completed Bcom Degree
• 2 – 3 years commercial experience
• Must come from a similar industry

Skills:

• Proficient in Excel
