About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Implementation Consultant: Accountant to join a dynamic software company based in Claremont. This is a hands-on role that will see you work closely with the CEO as their 2IC, contributing both strategically and operationally.

You will manage the company’s internal financial function while also acting as a key contact for finance related queries from clients using their platform. Over time, you will play a critical role in building and leading a dedicated finance department that supports clients with system related finance queries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations (including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance).
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients experiencing finance related issues on the platform.
• Support and lead the implementation of our software for clients from a finance perspective, ensuring financial accuracy and client satisfaction.
• Work closely with the CEO on strategic initiatives, internal operations and process improvements.
• Develop and grow a finance team to service both internal stakeholders and external client needs.
• Provide input into product development from a financial user’s perspective.
• Ensure best practices in financial processes and controls within both the company and the client use of our systems.
• Prepare reports and present financial insights to executive leadership.

Requirements:

• CA(SA) qualification.
• Proven experience in the software or technology industry.
• Strong understanding of financial systems, reporting and implementation.
• Client facing experience with the ability to translate financial needs into system functionality.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Needs to be onsite in Claremont
