Marketing Accounts Controller (Accounts Payable)

Main Purpose of the Role:

As a Marketing Accounts Controller, you’ll oversee the financial efficiency of marketing activities, ensuring adherence to budgets. Responsibilities include expense tracking, internal financial control implementation, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and managing vendor relationships.

Requirements:

• Accounting/Finance degree or similar
• Microsoft Dynamics D365 system knowledge (advantageous)
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong computer literacy
• Time management and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Marketing and Global Content Studio expenses for budget compliance.
• Implement internal financial controls for efficient resource utilization.
• Provide financial input for potential marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate on financial objectives for marketing initiatives.
• Analyze project spending and report variances.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve marketing processes.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and present financial reports for senior management.
• Manage vendor accounts, purchase requisitions, and open purchase orders.
• Conduct weekly Age Analysis meetings.
• Assist with month-end procedures and reporting.
• Handle recharge invoicing, asset management, and month-end clearing accounts.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports.
• Participate in budget setting.
