Overall Job Purpose:

Our esteemed partner, an industry-leading agri-business undergoing a significant strategic business and IT transformation, seeks a SAP Finance and Accounting Solutions Specialist to spearhead the Finance and Accounting Stream within the SAP S/4 HANA Private Cloud implementation project. In this role, you will be instrumental in proactively designing, delivering, and supporting all activities related to Finance and Accounting solutions, ensuring seamless integration with legacy systems. Your leadership, analysis, and design insights will play a pivotal role in driving the development of Finance technology solutions within SAP S4 HANA.

Key Accountabilities:

Finance and Accounting Solutions Specialist

Generic:

• Apply architectural guidelines and principles to solutions.
• Participate in QA and Design Authority activities.
• Act as a liaison between business and SI project teams.
• Ensure quality design and well-tested solutions.
• Identify and mitigate project issues and risks.
• Validate and obtain buy-in for business processes.
• Manage business impacts and change activities.
• Define archiving requirements and integrate them into a holistic approach.
• Understand end-to-end processes and identify gaps between SAP and critical business processes.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements.

System Processes:

• Design technical solutions to support business system requirements.
• Implement processes to comply with internal and external audit requirements.
• Facilitate technical design and integration for third-party solutions.
• Define reporting requirements and specifications.
• Ensure data integrity and completeness for migration.
• Define and validate authorization roles for processes.
• Sign off on project solution documents.
• Ensure completion of integration and UAT test scenarios.
• Define business continuity plan.

Change Management:

• Support Change Management activities.
• Provide input to impact assessments for system changes.
• Equip business leads with relevant information and knowledge.

Quality Management:

• Execute and own Unit and Integration testing.
• Validate testing results.
• Provide test data for Integration scripts.
• Provide input to audit controls for system migration and go-live.

Qualifications And Experience:

• IT Diploma or degree.
• Minimum 8 years SAP Finance and Accounting implementations or Support.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP Solman.
• Knowledge and experience of FICO, AP/AR, Group Reporting, Asset Accounting.
• Understanding of project development lifecycle and SAP Activate methodology.
• Testing of a fully integrated solution in an SAP project.
