Head of Digital Marketing

Salary: Monthly CTC R 35 000.00 – R 40 000.00 (depending on experience)

Overview:

A dynamic full-service marketing agency is in search of an enthusiastic leader with a passion for digital marketing and the PPC space to join their team. The successful candidate will lead and manage the digital team, overseeing all digital advertising projects across platforms such as Meta and Google.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Client Engagement: Collaborate directly with clients to develop digital strategies, troubleshoot issues, and make sound recommendations on marketing tactics to be implemented to ensure the clients’ needs are met through successful digital campaigns.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the digital team, overseeing all digital advertising projects across platforms such as Meta and Google. Ensure high-quality output and adherence to best practices.
• Training and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, including overseeing digital marketing training, and continuous education on advertising strategies.
• Project Management: Support Account Managers, provide guidance to the Client Service team during the initial briefings to final delivery. Ensure projects stay within scope, deadlines are met, and profitability targets are achieved.
• Process Improvement: Drive improvements in the digital department’s processes and practices, ensuring efficiency and high standards are maintained.
• Reporting and Accountability: Monitor and report on team performance, client project statuses, and budget reconciliations for social and Google Ads spends.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification
• 3 Years plus experience in a digital agency
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets), Google Ads, Google Analytics, Agency Analytics and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
