Retention Specialist

Salary: R 33 000.00 to R 38 000.00 CTC per month (depending on experience)

Location: Cape Town (Hybrid)

Non-negotiable: Proficiency with CRM platforms and campaign management tools (such as Optimove, Salesforce, etc.).

Overview:

A cutting-edge sports betting powerhouse, with a far-reaching footprint in the digital gambling landscape, is on the hunt for a skilled Retention Specialist. You will play a key role in executing and optimizing promotional campaigns, and will support the overall retention strategy, ensuring campaign success through precise execution, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Campaign Execution: Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of customer retention campaigns across multiple channels (email, SMS, push notifications, etc.).
• Campaign Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyse the performance of retention campaigns, providing actionable insights to optimize future efforts. Prepare post-campaign reports and assess return on investment (ROI).
• Retention Strategy Support: Work closely with the retention team to develop strategies that increase customer lifetime value (CLV) and reduce churn rates.
• Customer Segmentation: Utilize customer data to create targeted segments, ensuring personalized and relevant messaging in all retention initiatives.
• Promotional Calendar Management: Assist in maintaining the promotional calendar, ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time and according to plan.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• 2+ years of experience in a customer retention or marketing role
• Experience in online gambling or sports betting industry is advantageous
