Paid Media Specialist – On-site (City Centre – Cape Town) – Salary: Up to R60k!

Our client who are one of the fastest growing betting and gambling companies in the country are looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team. As the Paid Media Specialist you will be will be responsible for the delivery of the integrated digital paid media plan (including Paid Search, GDN, Paid Social Media, Native and programmatic platforms). Implementation is a key part to this role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement digital paid media strategies to leverage growth in online reputation and business growth.
• Analyze and interpret data from social, Google, and revenue reporting to optimize campaigns and inform future recommendations.
• Identify target audiences and understand their characteristics, behavior, and media habits.
• Develop and execute paid multi-channel initiatives to meet or exceed campaign objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate and raise awareness of the digital paid media framework and its benefits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and agency partners to ensure successful campaign execution.
• Monitor paid media channels to ensure that delivery and objectives are met.
• Track and quality assure proofs to ensure cost-effective and impactful solutions.
• Analyze and report on campaign performance to facilitate amendments and optimize future campaigns.

Qualifications/Experience:

• 5 years successful experience in paid digital media planning and campaign management;
• 3 Year Bachelor’s Degree / NQF Level 7 in marketing, communication or journalism
• GAIQ certification (Google Analytics Certification) is an advantage
• Experience demonstrating creativity from an ideas perspective, an eye for design and an understanding of the power of storytelling to better understand, engage with and motivate consumers.
• Ideally come from a restricted industry (gambling, betting, alcohol, crypto etc)
